After One Calibration
Deeper into the music.
When I session, I hardly ever use headphones because of the fact that you have to do post editing and the music being off is such a pain in the butt. I have found that with this app, I'm able to tap into the music deeper because the music is playing directly in my ears. It makes the whole recording process so much smoother too. Dancers keep an eye out for this app when it opens to the public bc this is a game changer for SURE

Recording feels passive now.
There is so many useful tools that just make recording footage almost passive. It's incredibly helpful for someone like me who always forgets to record myself. Makes it incredibly easy to.

Real Stories From Movers
βI didn't want to stop.β
It is literally 2 AM. I just got out of rehearsal but on my morning walk I saw the space and I was like oh my god that would be so beautiful to freestyle. And I walked past it because there were people around and I started getting like nervous and anxious.
But I walked back around to the spot like 20 minutes later and I was like okay just do like one round. Like you have the app. Like just set it up. And if people see you and think you're weird it's okay.
And literally this very round ended up being 10 minutes. I just let the literally I only have three songs already transferred on the app. But I just let those three songs play. And after the first song I was like I don't want to stop. Like this feels so fun.
And the butterfly moment was so cool. There was so many more of those moments of like me interacting with nature or even with the people that were passing. Like it felt so freeing.
So I'm going to actually continue this practice on my morning walks. And maybe in this location specifically. Like I'm just going to keep going.
But this app at least for today has truly allowed me to like release and I also noticed that like people don't care. Like people don't care. You could be dancing in public and it's fine. And it's great.
So I know that this app is going to help me so much. So thank you again and I will continue to use it.

βMaddie hears nothing. I hear everything.β
Yo this might be a game changer in my dance journey for at home labs or sessions. No excuses now.
I have a studio yeah, but a barrier I didn't think about until after I built it was (my daughters) bedtime and not being able to play music in the evening or even wanting her to hear mommy's song preferences at home which are not always family friendly.
This new app lets me listen through headphones but still record with the music so there's no editing needed after.
Maddie hears nothing.
I hear everything.
Can immediately watch back.
And video download is ready to go.

"This is my love letter to dance and its practitioners."
This is one of the hardest things I've done in my life.
Making this thing for the past year (with no coding experience) has been a deep meditation on my appreciation for dance.
20 years and 10,000+ hours spent rising, falling, and rising again as a human through this artform.
I realized how much dancing with headphones truly brings us closer to the music.
It deepens our practice.
And now, being able to capture that depth, anywhere, without creative friction is such a gift.
I found this app makes capturing, reviewing, and sharing our craft more fun.
When it's more fun, we do it more often.
I wanted to remove the creative friction that so many dancers have between capturing their art, staying present with their dance, but needing to edit the music afterwards.
It's a small problem. Yes.
But I can't tell you how many times I've heard dancers say they have hundreds of rounds in their camera roll, but they just have to "edit the music."
Myself included.
So I made this to help all of us β think less, dance more, and capture often.
This is for you.
Every feature, text, button, and animation is carefully designed for you: the movement artist.
This app is a love letter to dance and its practitioners, and to the community who makes it so healing, empowering, and connecting.
I hope this helps you make amazing art more often.
~ Perris
More Words From Artists
No fuss. Game changer.
The music you play overlays itself to your videos. The music plays in your headphones while recording. Then when you're done you can instantly save it to your camera roll. No fuss with overlaying the music! Game changer.

Made by a mover FOR movers.
I come from a choreography world and recently made some dope friends in the freestyle world. Transitioning from βcopy these moves and perform itβ to just feeling and transmuting music is some sh*t. lol. Really can't wait to explore more together!

I can't wait to do and move and connect and let go through this phase ....it's not just for professional dancers, it's for us who forgot to play the same way, who started to concentrate on wrinkles instead of wacky wall crawlers...
It's time to play.
To forget.
... to connect.

Music goes straight into the body.
Cyphrcam is a real game changer, man β it's amazing. After about 10 minutes, I fully dived into the music, and it really helped me structure my dance because it removed the background noise and let the music go straight into the body.
Your app helps me get completely closer to the music and lets it enter the body directly, eliminating external noise and allowing full concentration.

Shot this freestyle in βblackout modeβ, which (aside from the music auto-syncing!) has gotta be my favorite thing about @cyphrcam.
Less focus on being in-frame, more focus on just flowing.
